Congratulations to the 2020 Urban Action Showcase International Action Film Festival Official Selections. We are grateful for the hundreds of filmmakers and writers who despite the Pandemic adversities, pressed through and submitted content to our festival. We solute all creators and encourage everyone of you to keep creating as you have become an essential life line in these challenging times. We are especially proud of the over 100 Filmmakers and Script Writers that were selected for this year's Virtual screenings on the UASC phase 1 OTT and Web channels. To view this year's Official Selections you will have to go to our UASC web channel and in order to view on Roku or Apple TV you will have to sign up for an Free Account on Binge Networks  then simply click our UASC channel which is the first channel on the main page. Individual Film Blocks as well as All Access Festival screening passes will be on sale from November 6 - 14 to support your favorite filmmakers. HBO, Cinemax and Warner Brothers are helping to bring access and awareness to Heroes of color by partnering with the UASE celebrating diversity and the multicultural achievements in the blockbuster Action genre.

The Urban Action Showcase and Expo (UASE ) has become the premier Action entertainment platform celebrating diversity and the multicultural achievements in the blockbuster Action genre bringing both awareness and access to Heroes of Color. We are the key marketer in the production and promotion of diverse heroic content offering both fan and professional experiences geared towards the Multicultural Pop Culture/Action demographic establishing ourselves as the Neighborhood Watch of the Action Genre, making sure that diverse fictional Heroes and Stories are treated with the same respect as other mainstream content across the genre.

We are very humbled and honored to say that once again besides being a FilmFreeway Best Reviewed 5 Star Film Festival, we have made history. UASE 2019 was nothing short of Epic! 

Our Friday evening Red Carpet and Awards hosted 78 Filmmakers from over 15 countries and honored the likes of Perry Young for his role in Cinemax Warrior, Celia Au from Netflix Wu Assassins, David Harris, Dorsey Wright, and Brian Tyler from the cult classic The Warriors for its 40th anniversary.

Our UAS International Action Film Festival Awards began with a changing of the guard as The Mantle of the Black Dragon was passed on to Michael Jai White by the 4 living Dragons (Ron Van Clief, Don Wildon, Cynthia Rothrock, Taimak) and Council of Grandmasters of the Martial Arts. Michael Jai White is now "The Black Dragon".

Our Saturday Screenings featured the UASIAFF Official Selections, Nominees and Winners as well as pivotal anniversary celebrations like Black Belt Jones 45th, The Warriors 40th, The Last Dragon 35th, Kickboxer 30th, The Matrix 20th, Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace 20th, Black Dynamite 10th, Ninja Assassin 10th, Cinemax Warrior Season 1 Marathon and more! 

Some of the highlighted panels included:
Sheroes in Action Panel with special guest Nafessa Williams aka Thunder from the CW's Black Lightning, Celia Au from Wu Assassins, Regine Sawyer from Women in Comics, Evelyn O Vaccaro from John Wick 3 and the Lady Dragon herself, Cynthia Rothrock!

Martial Arts in Cinema Panel featuring Warrington Hudlin, Michael Jai White, Ron Van Clief the Original Black Dragon, Vincent Lyn, Robert Samuels, Ric Meyers, Cynthia Rothrock, David Worth, and Don The Dragon Wilson.

Urban Fists of Legends Panel featuring Fred The Hammer Williamson, Nafessa Williams, Michael Jai White, Taimak The Last Dragon, and Cynthia Lady Dragon Rothrock!

Our seminars were informative and effective giving individuals interested in entering the Action genre the real-world experience needed to allow them to begin their journey toward the path of Action Acting. Our Dragons (Cynthia Rothrock, Don Wilson, and Michael Jai White) taught exclusive Screen Fighting Master Classes to a private group of enthusiastic Action Actors and Stuntmen, an unforgettable experience to say the least.

The Action Expo was bustling with Comic Book Creators, Animators, Content Creators, Celebrity guests and the Pop Culture fans that love them. We had 7 awesome VR Anniversary Experiences that the Celebrities and fans are still posting about today. See photos and videos here.

​The Kung Fu Drive-In Podcast is a celebration of kung fu and martial arts cinema FROM a fan, FOR the fans... old and new! Producer and host, Jeof Vita, covers everything from the Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest classics of the 70s and 80s, to today's action brawlers, and even keeps an eye on tomorrow's stars through their short films on YouTube. Having grown up in an era where everybody was kung fu fightin', Jeof spent many Saturday afternoons lost in sword play and Shaolin, wire work and Wu Tang, and wants to share the kung fu love with a new generation.

Jeof also interviews the influential voices in the genre from actors and fight choreographers, to authors and directors, to get their unique insights into the evolution of martial arts in film.
