Turn Laser Pointer On/Off - Use the P key, or click the menu button hovering in front of you.
Mute/Unmute Your Mic - Use the mic icon at the top right, or in the sidebar use the mic toggle. You can also use the M key to toggle your mic on or off. On all devices, you can also use the in-world menu using the button hovering in front of you. Note: You can only connect to a Frame if your browser detects a microphone. Once it does, your mic will turn on by default, so you can voice chat right away. The voice chat is spatialized so you only hear who you are close to.
VR Hardware - UAE works best on Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift from the Oculus Browser or Firefox. While it may work on HTC Vive we haven't done as much testing on the Vive. If on a WinMR headset, you can try using the SteamVR WinMR toolkit.
UAE in VR - UAE runs right from a web browser. On Oculus Quest, open the Oculus Browser and navigate to a UAS Virtual Experience URL. Before entering VR mode, click the "Connect" button you see in the Frame and the Oculus Browser will ask permission to use your microphone. Grant it. Then, click the VR button in the bottom right of the Oculus Browser.
For Rift/Vive, we recommend Chrome or Firefox. If you have your headset plugged in, when you click the VR button in the bottom right of a Frame, it will render to your headset and you can use your controllers.
Move - Feel free to just... walk around! But you can also use the joystick on your left controller to move around a Frame.
Note: Enter in as an Attendee to be seen and heard. Spectators can only chat, see and listen but can't be seen or heard. Our environmenst work best on the Chrome Browser. Mac users may try Safari but if it malfuctions, use the Chrome browser.
