​The Urban Action Showcase International Action Film Festival accepts Live Action and Animation Films of the Blockbuster Action genre. Winners will receive prizes and Distribution opportunities on various platforms including *Amazon, Urban Action Showcase Cinema, Vimeo, *Netflix,*Hulu and more! *Please view all eligibility requirements and specific guidelines below for each contest.

Shorts must be a minimum of 5 minutes and maximum 30 minutes.

​Includes Feature Narrative & the Blood Sweat n Bones No Budget Contests..Features must be a minimum of 60 minutes and maximum of 120 minutes.

​New Media Series must be 30 to 60 min long

​​Web Series: All episodes must be a minimum of 3 minutes and maximum 30 minutes. ​​TV Pilots must be a minimum of 30 minutes and maximum 60 minutes.

​This category is open to the best Action Films that feature female Principle or Supporting character actors in a Feature, Short, New Media, Web Series or 2 Minute Warning Action Sequence categories.  

​Submit any Script in the Action, Adventure, Martial Arts, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, or Supernatural genre for a Feature Film or TV Pilot (45 pages to 120 pages). The Script must be written by a person of color or have characters of color in principle roles. The winners will receive the Award for their category. Other prizes to be announced.

​This category is for the Fans of the Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Supernatural films that we all love. Submit your fan film for the chance to be screened at AMC Theaters Times Sq. NYC as well as a chance to win the Fan Film Favorite Award at the 2020 Urban Action Showcase International Action Film Festival Awards.

As a tribute to the Old School Kung Fu Flix from Shaw Bros and Golden Harvest, submit an original Kung Fu/ Martial Arts Action Sequence as an extension of our 2 Min Warning Contest!

Submission Fees

1. Content must have been directed, written, and or star persons of color (Asian, Black, Latino, Women, Others).
2. Filmmaker/Content Creator must be 18 years of age or older or have Parental consent to enter.
3. Content must meet the specific contest requirements for the Contest or Category that it is submitted to.
4. ​All content Call 4 Entry submissions must be Full HD 1920 x 1080 or Higher.
5. Content must be in English or have English Subtitles.
6. The Urban Action Showcase International Action Film Competitions are open internationally world wide!
7. Film must have been completed no earlier than January 2016.
8. There are No premier restrictions for the 2021 Competitions accept for the WarnerMedia Short Film Competition.
9. The Blood Sweat n Bones Feature Film Contest budget must be under $5000.00.
10. The Blood Sweat n Bones Short Film Contest budget must be under $2000.00.
11. All Late Submissions must be received by August 15th, 2021.
12. All Official Selections Notification Date: August 20th, 2021.​​

Online Festival Official Selection Screenings

1. ​Online Official Selections will be available on our site in the Urban Action Showcase Cinema Section on our website.
2. Online Official Selections Screenings will be available on Smart TV's, Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV  Devices
3. Online Official Selections Screenings will be accessible beginning November 12th for Nine Days until November 20th if there is No Access to the Movie Theater!. 
4. You will be notified of your content's Official Selection status weather it be Online Only or both Theatrically and Online.
5. All Official Selections are eligible for Awards. The Live Awards will take place on November 12th via our UASIAFF tab on our urbanactionshowcase.com website​
