Wakanda Forever! Black Panther Roars into History!

Black Panther's record breaking success roars loud and clear that diversity is both socially and economically viable in the world market place. In other words #OurHeroesMatter! Years prior to the current Black Panther phenomenon, the Fast and Furious franchise obliterated the facade that People of Color were not a viable asset in the overseas market. This time the numbers have spoken louder than ever and one can only hope that the studios will take notice and that these accomplishments will not fall on deaf ears. 
Let's pause for a moment and take account of some of the major reasons why Studios need not ignore the enormous success of Black Panther when considering green lighting future Heroic/Action content that reflects multicultural images and interests. Black Panther has become a billion dollar box office phenomenon (Variety, Forbes). I am excited to see the residual effects this success has on diversity and new content as it pertains to heroes of color. If nothing else Black Panther's success has proven that the world is ripe for change and won't settle for anything else!
